The young witch Nata de Cotton is hot-headed, immature, and crazy about a candy called “Willow”. So crazy are her sugar cravings, that she won’t let anything get in between her and the Willows, destroying waves upon waves of enemies on her trusty broomstick, armed with an arsenal of explosive magical attacks. Cotton is accompanied by the diligent little fairy Silk, who exploits Cotton’s cravings, enlisting her to help save the world in exchange for Willows.

With this formula, the dynamic duo of Cotton and Silk helped establish the Cute ‘em up sub-genre way back in 1991’s Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams, making it one of Japan’s longest-running game series. Now, the Cotton series is celebrating its 30th birthday and making a triumphant return with 2021’s Cotton Reboot! and the brand-new Cotton Fantasy, coming in Spring 2022.
